Jenna Toler
Jenna Toler (she/her) is a Soprano who is currently working on her Masters of Music in Voice Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She is a Spring 2021 graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance. Jenna has enjoyed being a part of vocal groups, private lessons and performances since the age of six.
Jenna has a passion and excitement for teaching students of all ages! She first began exploring her teaching style during her undergraduate degree. Jenna has two years of experience and cannot wait to continue building on this through her time at Songbird Studios. Jenna’s goal as a teacher is to inspire her students to explore the limitless possibilities of their voice through a combination of healthy technique and expression. She is excited to be along for the journey as you discover your unique voice. Music gives us all a special chance to simultaneously give to others while also receiving the joys of making music for ourselves. By approaching the singing voice as an extension of the speaking voice, students can find comfortability and ease. Through a focus on the connection between text and an understanding of breath, students will build a strong foundation that will enable them to explore the boundless abilities of their voice.
Jenna’s performance career has a combination of Musical Theatre and Classical/Operatic roles. Some of Jenna’s favorite performances include being a Delta Nu girl in her former local Playhouse production of Legally Blonde, Elvira in Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri and she is excited for her upcoming role as the Nightingale in Ravel’s L’enfant et les Sortilèges. Although she started in Musical Theater and Classical music, Jenna is excited to continue expanding in her own art as she continues to find opportunities to perform in Pop, Classical and Musical Theatre styles.
