Jeff Howe

Associate Vocal Coach

Jeff Howe (he/him) has over a decade of professional experience performing and teaching in
many genres and styles. A native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Jeff studied voice at William Jewell
College in Liberty, Missouri, during which time he sang with a number of collegiate and
professional vocal ensembles, including the Grammy award-winning Kansas City Chorale. In
addition to his choral experience, Jeff also performed extensively as a soloist for weddings,
funerals, and other special engagements.

Since moving to the Bay Area in 2018, Jeff has worn many musical hats – in addition to an
active gigging and teaching schedule, he also serves as Director of Music Ministry at San
Ramon Valley United Methodist Church in Alamo, leading both the church choir and
contemporary band. He also serves as Director of Operations for the California Bach Society, a
professional-grade community ensemble based in Palo Alto.

A self-described “choral music junkie,” he’s expanded his expertise to include many genres and
styles, including opera, jazz, rnb, folk, pop, punk, and even barbershop harmony. As a teacher,
Jeff’s philosophy is to cultivate an environment where his students can recognize and explore
their innate artistic abilities, regardless of their age or level of experience.
