Andrew has been in the Bay Area for over 3 years. He moved from Oxford, Mississippi, where he received his Bachelors Degree in music from the University of Mississippi. He pursued his Masters Degree in classical voice at San Francisco Conservatory of Music and graduated in 2017. After completing his Masters degree, he received his Post Graduate Diploma at San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Andrew has been performing in musicals since he was in middle school. Some of those roles include: Trevor Graydon III from Thoroughly Modern Millie, Horton in Seussical the Musical, and his most recent role was Shrek in Shrek the Musical. Through classical singing, Andrew has performed in Germany, the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. A few of the roles he has performed include Older Thompson in Tom Cipullo’s Glory Denied, Papageno in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, and Aeneas in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.
As a teacher, Andrew focuses on healthy sound production and finding a student’s true voice! He values incorporating classical training into contemporary and musical theater singing. Andrew has been a member of the Songbird Team since 2018.
