“As a firm believer in the psychology of skill development, Sarah encourages each of her students to foster a “Growth Mindset” that will allow them to focus on improvement and inspire them. Her goal is to help her students not only find a healthy singing voice, but to also find the internal confidence and self-esteem to support it.”

Sarah Nadreau

Associate Vocal Coach

Sarah has had a close place in her heart for music from a very young age. Born and raised in a family of nine, music provided her with a quiet space where she could develop her confidence and her voice. She was born in Northern Idaho but considers Spokane Washington her true hometown and goes back to visit family as much as she can. There she received her bachelor’s degree for vocal performance, and appeared in numerous musicals, recitals, and opera showcases.

Sarah moved to San Francisco three years ago to study at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for her masters degree. Since then she has debuted in operas in Canada and Italy, and will soon make her San Francisco debut with the San Francisco Opera in their production of “The Handmaid’s Tale”.

While Sarah’s technique is primarily based on a classical understanding of voice, she is passionate about helping her students to find their voice in multiple genres of music ranging from pop and musical theater to jazz and opera. As a firm believer in the psychology of skill development, Sarah encourages each of her students to foster a “Growth Mindset” that will allow them to focus on improvement and inspire them. Her goal is to help her students not only find a healthy singing voice, but to also find the internal confidence and self-esteem to support it.
