“Singing is like breathing; without it, life gets very uncomfortable.”
Associate Vocal Coach
Becca is a Mezzo-Soprano currently completing her Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She is a graduate from the University of Redlands in 2016 with a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology and a minor in Vocal Performance. At the age of six, she premiered as Gretel in a community production of The Sound of Music and has been performing ever since.
Becca spent the past two years in the Los Angeles area competing in Ballroom and Latin dance before moving to San Francisco. She participated in the Berlin Opera Academy’s 2017 summer program, singing the role of Dryade in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos. Her other notable roles include Nicklausse (Tales of Hoffmann), Berta (The Barber of Seville), Draco Malfoy (A Very Potter Musical), and Hucklebee (The Fantasticks), among others.
Becca’s primary teaching goal is to help students feel that they can fully express themselves in every aspect of their endeavors. She will talk your ear off about K-Pop and can teach you to Salsa if you ask nicely. She has been a part of the Songbird Studios team since 2019.
