Originally from New Jersey, Erin is a passionate voice teacher and an award winning opera/musical theater performer in the Bay Area, actively working with companies such as West Edge Opera, Pocket Opera, Opera San Jose, and Lamplighters Music Theater. She has been teaching since 2013 and has taught in various cities across the United States.
Erin completed her Masters Degree at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music in Voice Performance and completed her undergraduate degree at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music in Voice Performance. One of her mosted noted performances was during the summer of 2018, she sang “Mabel” with Lamplighters Music Theater in their powerful feminist production of Pirates of Penzance, where she was nominated for “Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role in a Musical” with Theater Bay Area. She has also celebrated garnering First Prize in the Henry and Maria Holt Scholarship Competition in 2018, First Prize in the East Bay Opera League Competition in 2017 as well as being awarded Third Prize in the James Toland Tier II Vocal Competition earlier in 2017.
Along with performing opera and musical theater, Erin also sings with Jazz duos/trios around the Bay Area and has performed contemporary repertoire through touring with bands on the Jersey shore. Her teaching method is based upon an individuals unique sound, and she recognizes the importance of both the mental and physical processes by which to achieve ones’ unique voice. Erin joined the Songbird Studios team in 2019.
